Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 May 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using DefiFit you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.

3. Health and Safety Disclaimer

DefiFit is a tracking and information tool only. It does not provide medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. The content in the app, including calculations, summaries, and insights, is for informational purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise.
  • Stop using the Service and seek medical help if you experience adverse symptoms or health concerns.
  • You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information when creating and updating your profile.
  • Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the Service's source code where not permitted.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or related systems.
  • Upload, share, or store content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.

6. Community Guidelines and User-Generated Content

DefiFit includes social features (friends, feed posts, comments) that allow you to share content with other users. When using these features you must not post, share, or transmit content that:

  • Is illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory.
  • Is sexually explicit, gratuitously violent, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Promotes spam, scams, or unsolicited commercial activity.
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • Contains medical, nutritional, or fitness claims presented as professional advice.

Reporting and moderation

Every user-generated post, comment, and profile in DefiFit can be reported from inside the app using the report controls on each item. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and we aim to take action on objectionable content within 24 hours of a valid report.

When a report is upheld we may remove the offending content, restrict the user's ability to post, or disable the account entirely. Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent removal from the Service without refund.

You can also block any user from your Profile screen. Blocking hides the blocked user's posts, comments, and reactions from your view of the Service.

Contact

To report objectionable content or abusive behavior outside of the in-app report flow, contact us at the email address listed on the DefiFit App Store / Google Play listing or at the support address shown on the DefiFit website.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. By starting a subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

  • Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal details will be shown at checkout.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Payment for subscriptions purchased through the App Store is charged to your Apple ID account. You can manage or cancel auto-renewal at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the unused portion of a free trial, if any, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country or region of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different governing law is required by local consumer protection rules.
